About the Conductor

Adrienn Salazar
Director

Adrienn Salazar is a native of Hungary where she attended Pecs Conservatory of Performing and Visual Arts.  She holds a MA in Music Education and Conducting from the University of Pecs, Hungary.
Mrs. Salazar is an accomplished music educator specializing in strings and music theory. She has taught the After School Strings Program in Loudoun County for many years.

Mrs. Salazar has been a member of the Loudoun Symphony since 1999, and the Pro Arte Chamber Orchestra of Greater Washington DC since 2015 both as a violinist and a violist. She is an accomplished composer and arranger. Her talent extends to Irish, Celtic violin and Sacred Music, which she has performed at weddings, parties, and other venues.

 

She is the owner and creator of The Children of the Rainbow Production, a musical fundraising event series that raises awareness for children with autism. She has performed numerous times at The Performing Arts Center in Purcellville as well as at Stone Tower Winery's annual fundraiser for Autism with her students. 

She is involved with the youth ministry at her church and is the director of the Youth Choir.

In her spare time she likes to visit places, go to museums,concerts and biking with her family.
